Obituary for Paul G. Kupec
Paul G. Kupec, age 87, of the Lordship section of Stratford, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018.
Mr. Kupec was born October 3, 1930 in Bridgeport son of the late George and Rose (Bednar) Kupec and had been a life time Lordship resident.Â
He was a United Sates Army Veteran of the Korean War and a retired foreman for the Southern Connecticut Gas Company. Paul was an avid UCONN Women’s Basketball and New York Giants fan, and loved to spend time taking care of his lawn.
Survivors include his two grandchildren, Michael Lathrop and his husband, Christopher, and Sueanne Kupec; great granddaughter, Ariella and lifelong friend, Patricia Cartee.Â
He was predeceased by two sons, Paul and Patrick Kupec and two sisters, Mary Kupec and Anna Kuba.Â
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated by Father Nicolas Pavia, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Rd., Stratford. Interment with military honors will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.Â
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday before Mass from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, CT. Â
In lieu of flowers or donations, the best way to honor Paul is to do something nice for somebody today and every day. Â
