Obituary for Doris (Tenney) Marsh
Doris (Tenney) Marsh, age 91, of Stratford and Heritage Village in Southbury, beloved wife of the late Gustav A. Marsh Jr., passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the Lord Chamberlain Nursing Facility, Stratford. Mrs. Marsh was born in Bridgeport, July 25, 1926, daughter of the late George and Marguerite (Minor) Tenny and had been a lifetime area resident.
Doris loved to read and was an accomplished embroider, she also loved tag sales and playing bingo with her Heritage Village friends.
Survivors include her children, Gus Marsh III and his wife Barbara and Dorothy Parker and her husband, Donald, two grandchildren, James A. Parker and his wife Liz and Jared M. Parker and his wife Chrisma; four great-grandchildren, James, Lauren, Nathaniel and Dylan and many nieces and nephews.
